for the following clinical studies:
Looking for overweight patients who want to lose weight:
This year, we are able to offer our patients several complementary studies with the common goal of weight loss. We are looking for very different groups of overweight patients who have certain risk factors for cardiovascular or metabolic diseases (e.g. high blood pressure, high blood lipids, pre-diabetes) or who have already developed secondary diseases as a result of being overweight (e.g. sleep apnoea, diabetes, musculoskeletal pain, impaired kidney function).
Various medications are used, some of which are already authorised for other diseases. The medication, medical care and nutritional counselling administered as part of the trials are free of charge. In addition, an appropriate expense allowance is paid for each visit to the clinical trial centre. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to studien@ambenet.de.

Your advantages of participating in a study
Early access to new therapies
In addition to GP care, we offer you the opportunity to benefit from new medicines long before they are authorised and available to patients. We conduct studies in collaboration with international research-based pharmaceutical companies.
Clinical trials must be conducted to ensure the safety and efficacy of medicines. Without the participation of patients in the testing of new drugs and devices, there can be no medical progress. Patients who take part in trials make an important contribution to the future and have the opportunity to receive innovative treatment much earlier.
The participants in the research studies are intensively supervised by the doctors throughout the entire period. The safety of the test subjects is guaranteed by regular laboratory, technical and physical examinations.
Participation, medical care and medication are free of charge for study participants.
You can take part in a study even if you are being treated in other practices.
